Duration: 8 hours
This city is known worldwide for its Mosque-Cathedral, the monument par excellence of Córdoba, one of the most beautiful and unique buildings in the world. It has a monumental old town, one of the largest in Europe, a labyrinthine network of streets and houses full of flowers, pleasant squares and lively bars where you can enjoy the local cuisine.
Romans, Muslims, Jews and Christians have made Córdoba a place where East and West mix
Córdoba is currently the city that houses the most Unesco World Heritage titles in the world: the Mosque-Cathedral (in 1984), its historic center (in 1994), the Fiesta de los Patios Cordobeses (in 2012) and the palatine city Medina Azahara (in 2018).
Our visit begins at the Mosque-Cathedral with a local guide from Córdoba. After enjoying this wonderful building that is more than twelve centuries old, we will visit the old Jewish Quarter, with its narrow streets and flowery patios and we will enter its 14th century synagogue, unique in Andalusia and one of the best preserved in Spain. After lunch in a local restaurant, we will return to Seville.
