Duration: 10 hours

The route of the white villages is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful trips in Andalusia.

It runs through 19 towns in the provinces of Cádiz and Málaga. A trip full of charm through insinuating roads and surrounding some of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park.

These idyllic towns with whitewashed façades, offer us unforgettable walks through their cobbled streets with their squares, churches, fortresses and viewpoints with incredible views. Each of them has a surprise to offer the visitor that cannot be found in any of the others.

The road between the towns is a journey through landscapes of singular beauty. The mountains, the valleys, the deep river cuts, the high peaks over which the golden eagle and the griffon vulture fly majestically, nesting in the vertiginous cuts of the mountain range.

Our excursion begins with a visit to Setenil de las Bodegas, one of the most beautiful and photographed white villages in Spain. It is located along a canyon that has been excavated for centuries by the waters of the Guadalporcún River and has troglodyte dwellings embedded in the rock. Its urban fabric is declared a Historic Site. After enjoying a walk and enjoying its admirable views, we will go to Grazalema, a small town nestled in the heart of the Sierra de Grazalema Natural Park, one of the jewels of our route. Here we will visit the Plaza de España, where the most representative buildings of the town are located and where you can enjoy and taste the local cuisine.

After lunch we will continue our trip to Zahara de la Sierra, a beautiful mosaic of houses perched on the mountain, imposing and pristine with steep streets full of beautiful bougainvillea. After a snack we will return to Seville.
